  • The applicant must have graduated from Western Nevada Cattle Women's Region (Carson, Douglas, Lyon, Storey and Washoe Counties in Nevada and Inyo and Mono Counties in California)

    Must be enrolled in a junior college, four-year college/university or other accredited institution of higher education, such as a trade school, for the fall term in which the scholarship is to be awarded. 

    At least 2.5 GPA (accumulative)

    The applicant cannot have reached their 25th birthday prior to January 1 of the year of application. 

  • Students during their undergraduate, studying animal science, vocational programs, rangeland management, agriculture or closely related fields of study.

High School Scholarships

  • Students must be residents of Alpine (California), Carson City, Douglas, Lyon, Mono (California), Washoe County.

    At least 3.3 or above GPA

    A graduating high school senior pursuing a degree relating to the field of agriculture or

    natural resources. We want to see their interests, activities, and financial needs. Those

    not pursuing a degree in agriculture or natural resources will not be reviewed.

  • The student should not be explicitly involved with the cattle industry. We seek well-rounded individuals who will continue school in an agricultural or natural resources field and attend school in the United States.

  • Please have students either

    mail their completed application, along with their high school transcripts, to mail, received no

    later than April 17, 2026, to:
